1st ANNUAL
UNCW/ PISA CAMP A COMPLETE SUCCESS
40 campers enjoyed
the first UNCW camp ever to be held here at Carolina Beach. Though the
summer temperature was hot, the campers had a "cool" group of instructors
from Head Coach Paul Cairney's women's UNCW college team.

PISA
The Hammerheads Professional
Soccer team has
conducted camp here in cooperation with Pleasure Island
Soccer Association for
the past 6 years. In 2001, the soccer camp started with 35
children. The second year
grew immediately to 61, then an astounding 83 children in
2003! 2004 was
another great year with 65
children, and 2005 had the same. 2006 was another great
turn-out with 66, and in 2007 30 campers braved the heat for another fun week..
