BOTH losses coming from overtime PK’s! They won both the Columbia and Charleston

time, winning the Charleston Shootout over the October 11th weekend where they

Spring 2008

The Pleasure Island Soccer Girls U-15 Hurricanes and coach Chris Libert traveled to Charlotte to
play in the 2008 Julian Brown Memorial Cup. The girls played against some of the
top teams in NC and GA who have already played 15-16 games this season and are
in better condition. However, our girls showed great talent and determination by
winning their first game 1-0 with a goal from Kara Bennett. The second game they
also won 1-0 with a goal from Megan Panzanella. Their 3rd game was
there most difficult, taking on a top team from Augusta GA and almost tied at
the end though barely losing 3-2.
