About PISA Adult Soccer LeagueAfter 20 years of experience operating a successful youth league, PISA is now administrating the new PISA Adult Soccer League. This is response to many years and overwhelming requests from our members and other teams in New Hanover County as well as surrounding communities.
The PISA Adult League coordinators are all former professional players with the Wilmington Hammerheads and various other USL and MLS teams. With them they bring a wealth of nowledge and experience in adult soccer. The league is sanctioned by US Club Soccer, which is an affiliate member of US Soccer (USSF). We are very excited about the opportunities this will bring for adult players in the Wilmington area as well as other clubs and associations in NC and neighboring states. In addition to local league games, there will be more opportunity for hosting our own local tournaments which will be open to a larger range of teams and associations throughout the southeast. We have already begun discussions with other associations and soccer clubs in NC to bring more events and games to the Wilmington area. Future plans are to have other area teams join-in the regular season schedule. Player registration is just $80 and is open to ages 18 and older. Team sponsorships are $250 and covers name on jerseys, weekly coverage in Island Gazette and webpage for your business for the season.
