Who are
the
HURRICANES
?
The
HURRICANES
are the
most competitive
teams
for
players
more
serious
about
their
soccer
experience.
Players
ages 13
through
18 are
selected
to train
and
compete
against
the top
soccer
clubs in
NC and
neighboring
states
by
registering
in
tournaments
as their
season
schedule.
Why play
the same
teams
every
season,
only 1
game
schedule
at a
time
when you
can play
variety
of teams
in a
competitive/fun
event?
Advantages

coaches

in the
area

Compete
against
the best
soccer
clubs
from NC,
VA, SC,
GA,
etc...
> Most
tournaments
for the
older
age
divisions
have
college
coaches/scouts
watching
the
games.
> Play
more
games (3
to 4 in

weekend)
vs. the
same
traditional
one-game
schedule.
>Travel
only
every
few
weekends;
be home

other
weekends
to enjoy
family/other
activities.
> Costs
are
much
lower of any
other
club for

Commitment
There is
a higher
level of
commitment
expected
to play
at this
level,
including
additional
costs
associated
with
travel,
additional
coaches
fees,
and
time,
and is
not for
every
player
or
family.
However,
PISA is
able to
bring
this
highest
level of
soccer
to it’s
members
since
not
making a
profit.
Schedule
Teams in
these
age
groups
will
train 2
nights/week
with
professional
coach
and
register
for 4 or
5
tournaments
per
season.
Tournaments
are
selected
based on
distance,
cost,
and
competition
level.
