Hundreds flock to Carolina Beach for Sand Blast Soccer tourney (video)

At Fort Fisher State Park, on the BEACH !

Enjoy a weekend at Carolina/Kure Beach, swimming, relaxing, surfing, and Sand Soccer!

Sanctioning:

This is a US Club Soccer sanctioned event and is unrestricted; open to all players, US Club, AYSO, USYS, unaffiliated teams and individual players.

Playing Surface: 10 fields

Beach sand. Socks or sand-socks recommended

Divisions:

Boys: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18

Girls: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18

Men's: Open, Over 30

Women's: Open, Over 30

Format:

4v4 (8 player roster max. per team)

Entry Fee:

$30 per player (by May 20th), $40 per player (after May 20th)

# games:

Guaranteed 3 (weather permitting).

Awards:

 1st and 2nd place awards in each division.

All team players registered for the tournament will receive a FREE ticket to the Wilmington Hammerheads home game that Saturday night June 2nd. Tickets will be available at team check-in and at the main beach tent during the event.
