 SPRING AND FALL ACADEMY 
(Registrations coming January 15)
Academy is open for children Kindergarten-5th Grades

The Academy Program was founded in 2008; helping players develop the technical skills needed to advance to the next level.
Players can participate in both Recreation & Academy since Academy is just 1 night/week for 8 sessions (10 if playing in final season tournament).
Included in the Academy is professional coaching curriculum), program training shirt (for training and games), occasional scrimmages.​​

Spring & Fall Academy Tournament Opportunity
2012 & 2013 Academy Players will have the opportunity to enter end-of-season tournament here in Wilmington! Separate registration link will be sent to those players eligible. Additional fee required if selected to play in the tournament. *Tournament entry is based on enough players in each division interested in tournament and paying entry fee. ​Players will be divided and 
trained in TEAM format for 2 weeks leading-up to the event. 

Academy Coaches

Ryan Deppa
Ryan grew up in Western NY, and finished his playing career for Genesee CC. He was a also a member of NY West Southern Tier ODP program. Coach Ryan has coached all age groups through his years, including college coaching experience at JCC-Olean, University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Ryan just finished his fourth season as head coach of regional power, Cape Fear Community College.
​David Irving
Picture
​David was most recently head coach then Director of Football Operations for Tulsa Roughnecks FC, for 15 years coached the USL Wilmington Hammerheads Professional team winning several division championships and a national championship. CLICK HERE to learn more about David's professional career. David is also the coach of Hurricanes 04 Boys and 07 Boys teams.
