    ​I understand PISA is a recreational league whose purpose is to provide a fun, athletic activity for children which teaches sportsmanship, self-esteem, and teamwork.  My role as a coach is to promote those values, have fun, and help the children learn the game of soccer. For the health and safety of children, coaches I will remind spectators smoking and alcohol are to be kept away from athletic events and dogs be kept off the fields. 
     
    I understand a coach is responsible for promoting and maintaining order on the sideline including players and parents. Conduct as coach reflects upon me, my players, the parents and the business that sponsors our team.  Improper conduct or confronting a referee, parent, spectator, coach, or player in public as to pose aggression, poor sportsmanship or in any manner which disrupts the game or enjoyment of the activity will not be tolerated and will result in being replaced as coach and possible action against the entire team; including forfeiture of the game and/or suspension/ dismissal of players, parents, spectators, and/or coaches.
     
    All concerns, disagreements, appeals, and complaints about coaches, referees, parents or players, should be directed to PISA.  Referee judgments will not be reversed and are not subject to appeal. The referee may only be asked for clarification on a judgment or be asked a question about the rules, but may not openly show disrespect or intolerance. I understand that the referees on occasion may make errors in judgment or miss something that others see differently, and accept this is part of the game. I have not been convicted of a felony and/or charges relating to sexual misconduct. If requested, will     consent to a background check for purpose of coaching in this league if deemed necessary and requested by the board.
