Who are the HURRICANES ?
Hurricanes are the top players in the area and the highest level of soccer at PISA. Teams have the opportunity to enter 4 or 5 tournaments per season, and play some of the best teams in NC, SC, GA, VA. With this also comes a higher level of commitment if selected since teams will travel on a few weekends during the season. Fees are all-inclusive to cover uniforms, coaching & tournaments.
Junior Hurricanes - 3rd/4th Grade players born in 2011/12.
This is a gradual introduction into the Hurricanes Program with a modified training schedule practicing ONE-night/week (instead of 2) so will not conflict with their Rec Practice. Teams will play in 3 Tournaments in the season (instead of 5).If selected to the team, the fees are all-inclusive to cover new uniforms/training gear, coaching and tournament entry fees for the Fall 2020 Season.

U.S. Soccer’s birth-year registration mandate
As previously announced in September 2015, US Club Soccer implemented the U.S. Soccer Federation’s birth-year registration mandates on Aug. 1, 2016. This means that all youth competitions beginning Aug. 1, 2016 will be based on age group cut-offs of January 1 for each age group. Due to additional interpretative changes by U.S. Soccer since this announcement in how competition age groups are labeled, US Club Soccer and other sanctioning bodies are now clarifying the age group structures for the 2016-2017 season.
- Beginning Aug. 1, 2016, all youth soccer sanctioning organizations will form competitions based on birth-year age groups.
